HARRISBURG – Rep. Joe Kerwin (R-Dauphin) announced more than $272,500 in grant funding was awarded to support fire companies and emergency medical services in the 125th District.

“This grant funding will support the first responders who answer the call to keep our communities and families safe,” said Kerwin. “These dollars will be essential in allowing fire and emergency medical services to operate in our district. I am always proud to support these brave men and women.”

Grant awards can be used for construction or repair of facilities, purchase or repair of equipment, debt reduction, recruitment and retention, public education about fire safety and training.
