The 125th Legislative District consists of part of DAUPHIN County consisting of the TOWNSHIPS of Halifax, Jackson, Jefferson, Lower Paxton (PART, Districts 03, 04, 09, 15, 16, 19, 21, 22, 24 and 27), Lykens, Middle Paxton, Mifflin, Reed, Rush, Upper Paxton, Washington, Wayne, West Hanover, Wiconisco and Williams and the BOROUGHS of Berrysburg, Dauphin, Elizabethville, Gratz, Halifax, Lykens, Millersburg, Pillow and Williamstown.

Schuylkill County Historical Society to Receive Grant to Support Building Preservation

POTTSVILLE – The Schuylkill County Historical Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of Schuylkill County, was awarded $150,000 from the Department of Community and Economic Development, according to Rep. Tim Twardzik (R-Schuylkill), Rep. Joe Kerwin (R-Dauphin/Schuylkill) and Senator David G. Argall (R-Schuylkill/Berks). This grant is part of the Keystone Communities program, which helps supports community revitalization and economic development organizations and their partners.

House Approves Kerwin’s Bill Aimed at Helping Dairy Farmers

HARRISBURG – The state House today in Harrisburg approved a bill introduced by local state Rep. Joe Kerwin (R-Dauphin/Schuylkill) that would help Pennsylvania dairy farmers by streamlining the certification process for milk testers.
